Whitney Walton is a Kenyan creative executive, entrepreneur, evangelist, and talent development advocate whose work bridges faith, storytelling, and social impact across Africa and London.
Born into a Muslim family and raised by a Christian mother, Whitney’s life has been shaped by an unwavering faith in God, a profound sense of purpose, and an enduring commitment to serving others. From the age of sixteen, worship and evangelism became central to her calling, leading her to minister within her community and beyond while inspiring lives through faith and compassion.
At just seventeen, Whitney began her journey in the creative industries, laying the foundation for what would become a growing influence in African film and television. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Whitney Walton Inc., a film, commercial talent, and creative literacy agency headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, dedicated to discovering, developing, and representing actors and creative professionals throughout Kenya and the wider Sub-Saharan African region.
Committed to creating opportunities for emerging talent, Whitney has established strategic collaborations that connect African creatives with international productions and industry professionals. Through a joint operation with MOSS PICTURES UK, she is helping expand opportunities for East African storytellers while championing authentic African narratives on the global stage.
Whitney serves as Executive Producer of the forthcoming documentary ENABLE, a co-production between Whitney Walton Inc. and MOSS PICTURES UK. Scheduled for release in autumn, the documentary is written and directed by Anthony Sokunbi-Walton and tells the powerful true story of living with fibromyalgia an often misunderstood invisible condition. The film seeks to raise global awareness, encourage compassion, and amplify the voices of those living with chronic illness.
Driven by faith, integrity, and excellence, Whitney Walton continues to build platforms that empower artists, inspire communities, and transform stories into meaningful cultural impact. Her vision is to position African talent and storytelling at the forefront of the global entertainment industry while using film as a catalyst for education, hope, and lasting change.
